Adverb Clause is a group of words that function as an adverb. The adverb clause can change verbs by saying where, when why, how, how much, and under what condition. So, the adverb clause basically is the word that is more specific on the subject.

Ex: They like dogs and puppies more than cats and kittens.

Hope this helps :-) !!
