Our goal here is to create a simple inequality and isolate the x. In order to do this, we must see what's next to x and put it to the other side using the property of equality.
As we can see, there's a -12 on the left side with the x. When we add that to the other side, we get:
8x ≥ 48
Divide both sides by 8:
x ≥ 6
