Why were the working classes dissatisfied with the prevailing economic system?

Because in the prevailing economic system, the disparity between wealth allocation is too large, and as we move from one generation to another, the disparity tend to become larger.
This led to many people from working classes demanded a certain level of minimum wages in order to keep them afloat and survive.
