In what ways did railroads help both businesses and customers

In Businesses it was easier to move new and old products quicker and be more efficient like as they were faster they could get more products sell more make more of everything faster.. costumers would not have to worry about being out of stock and they didn’t have to worry about having to plan a day for what they needed.
