What is the slope of the line that passes through (4,1) and (7,-2)?

slope formula;
m = y2 - y1/ x2 - x1                     point(x, y) = (4, 1), (7, -2)
 
m = -2 - 1/ 7 - 4
m = -3/3
m = -1

the slope is -1.
