Solve for y
2x - 6y = 12
Subtract 2x from both sides:
2x - 2x - 6y = 12 - 2x
Simplify
-6y = -2x + 12
Divide each term by -6
y = 1/3x - 2
Table:
x - values: -3   0    3    6   (using numbers divisible by 3)
y - values: -3   -2   -1   0   (result from plugging in each x - value)
Plot the following points to get the graph:
(-3, -3), (0, -2), (3, -1), (6, 0)
