Since all sides are congruent, the perimeter is 3 times the length of 1 side.

3(4x - 3) = 63

Divide both sides by 3:

4x - 3 = 21

Add 3 to both sides:

4x = 24

Divide both sides by 4:

x = 6

Hello there,
1 side= (4x-3)
3 sides= (4x-3)3
           = (12x-9)
To find the value of x,
12x-9= 63
12x= 63+9
12x=72
x=6

On side note: Remember to change the sign when it crosses the equal sign. (for example: -2 will become 2 once it crosses the equal sign)

Hope this helps:))
