calculate the kinetic energy of a 4kg cat running 5m/s

Kinetic energy  =  (1/2) (mass) (speed)²

                         = (1/2) x (4 kg) x (5 m/s)²

                         =      (2 kg) x (25 m²/s²)

                         =    50 kg-m²/s²  =  50 joules
