[tex](1/2)^4=1/2*1/2*1/2*1/2=1/16=0.0625[/tex]

Since the first number is 1, it will remain 1 at the end. So we have to find the bottom number to the power of four.

[tex]2^4=2*2*2*2[/tex]

This can be simplified to equal

[tex]2^4=4*4[/tex]

Which equals to 16. So we know the final equation will be equal to 1/16
