|2x-3| </= 7. This needs to be split into 2 separate inequalities, due to the | | absolute value phrase.
1) 2x-3 </= 7 --> 2x-3 +3 </= 7 +3
2x </= 10 --> x </= 5
2) 2x-3 >/= -7 --> 2x-3 +3 >/= -7 +3
2x >/= -4 --> x >/= -2
These two inequalities can be placed together as: -2 </= x </= 5
So the numbers that are correct for the original inequality are: -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Hope that helps!
