Since the distance formula is sqrt((x1-x2)^2+(y1-y2)^2), we can plug that in to get sqrt((3-(-1))^2+(-4-3)^2)) from the x and y values of the first set of points and then subtracting the x and y values from the second set of points from that. After that, we get sqrt(4^2+(-7)^2)=sqrt(16+49)=sqrt(65)
