6x - 2y = 2
-3x + 4y = 5....multiply by 2
-----------------
6x - 2y = 2
-6x + 8y = 10 (result of multiplying by 2)
-----------------add
6y = 12
y = 12/6
y = 2

6x - 2y = 2
6x - 2(2) = 2
6x - 4 = 2
6x = 2 + 4
6x = 6
x = 6/6
x = 1

solution is (1,2)
