You would want to write an advertisement in a way that would attract the age group you're targeting. If you were targeting middle schoolers or elementary students, using toys and other stuff geared towards that group will help you sell your product.
However, if you're looking at a group of college or high school kids, maybe looking at showing how functional, reliable, and durable your bag is will be the best option. =)
