assuming you meant [tex](2n)^4[/tex]

remember
[tex](ab)^c=(a^c)(b^c)[/tex]
so
[tex](2n)^4=(2^4)(n^4)=(16)(n^4)=16n^4=16*n*n*n*n[/tex]
