Ethnogenesis refer to "a common ancestry".
Ethnogenesis, as the name infers, is the procedure whereby another ethnic gathering is made. An ethnicity is pretty much a gathering with a mutual culture, belief in common ancestry, and that specially weds inside itself as opposed to outside of itself. After some time, this makes a gathering that is ethnically unmistakable from its neighbors, even under states of closeness.
