The relationship between series and sequences can be defined as follows;
A sequence is defined as the list of numbers which have been written in a definite order, on the other hand, the sum of terms  of an infinite sequence is known as infinite series. Therefore, simply put; a sequence can be defined as an ordered list of numbers while series is the sum of the list of numbers.
