A(n)=a*r^n-1

n=term umber

A(n)= nth term

a=first term

r=common ratio

example: A(n)=a*r^n-1

r=4 a=2 n=9
A(9)=2*4^9-1
A(9)=2*4^8
A(9)=2*65,536
