6x - 6y = -30
6x - 4y = - 16
Subtract the two equations
      -2y = -14
divide both sides by -2
y = 7
Plug 7 back in to either equation and solve for x
6x -6(7) = -30
6x - 42 = -30
add 42 to both sides
6x = 12
divide both sides by 6
x = 2
CHECK (2,7)
6(2) -4(7) = -16
12 - 28 = -16
-16 = -16 check
