Cindy has 6 pounds of candy she wants to give each of her friends 1/3 pound. To how many friends can Cindy give 1/3 pounds of candy?

You'd want to find out how many times 1/3 goes into 6. So 6/(1/3). Which would equal 18.
So Cincy can give 18 friends 1/3 pounds of candy.
