We have that the surface area of a cube is given by

[tex]SA=6s^2[/tex]

where s is the measure of the side

s= 6 ft

[tex]SA=6\cdot6^2=6\cdot36=216ft^2[/tex]

If the square feet cost $2 the total cost will be

[tex]TC=216\cdot2=432[/tex]

the total cost is $432
