A vertical line equation can be written in the form:

[tex]x=x_1[/tex]

Where x_1 is the x value of a point the it passes through. We want the line to pass through the point (-12/5, 11/10), so the equation of the vertical line is:

[tex]x=-\frac{12}{5}[/tex]

Similarly, the equation of a horizontal line that passes through a point with y value y_1 can be written by:

[tex]y=y_1[/tex]

In this case, we have y_1 = 11/10, so the equation of the horizontal line is:

[tex]y=\frac{11}{10}[/tex]
