How do I solve this problem -4 (3+n)>-32

Divide by -4 and flip the sign because you are dividing by a negative number

3+n<8

Subtract 3 to get n<5

First: You will distribute your -4 to what's inside the parenthesis
You will get: -12-4n
> -32
Next: You will add your 12 on both sides of the sign
You will get: -4n> -20
Finally: You will divide by -4 on both sides of the sign
You will get: n> 5   That would be your answer
