Given f(x)= 5(3−x), what is the value of f(−2)?

In order to get the output for f(-2), you would simply replace the input, x, for the value of interest, -2. So,
f(-2)= 5(3-(-2))
The rule of signs say that (-)(-) = (+). So,
f(-2)=5(3+2)
f(-2)=5(5)
f(-2)=25
