Note that:

  • Volume of rectangle₁ + Volume of rectangle₂ = Volume of figure

Finding the volume of rectangle₁:

  • Volume of rectangle₁ = 1 x 7 x 6 = 42

Finding the volume of rectangle₂:

  • Volume of rectangle₂ = 7 x 3 x 4 = 84

Finding the volume of the figure:

  • 42 + 84 = Volume of figure
  • => 126 cm = Volume of figure
