Answer is 6/11

Explanation :-

[tex]2( - 3x + 4) = 5x + 2[/tex]

Now open left side brackets and multiply 2 with each on left,

[tex]➵ - 6x + 8 = 5x + 2[/tex]

Now, bring the common values together for easier calculation.

[tex]➵8 - 2 = 5x + 6x[/tex]

[tex]➵6 = 11x[/tex]

[tex]➵ \frac{6}{11} = x [/tex]

As we cant divide 6/11 , we write it as it is.

Therefore, value of x is 6/11
