When graphing a linear inequality in two variables, explain how to determine which side of the boundary line to shade. Please help me I am so confused.

[tex]\ \textgreater \ [/tex] means you shade the part above the line, and [tex]\ \textless \ [/tex] means you shade the part under the line.

If it has an equal bar under it, like this: [tex] \leq or \geq [/tex], then you also shade the line, by making it solid instead of dotting it.
