Find the distance in the x. 8-3= 5
Find the distance in the y. 3-1= 2
This can be used with the Pythagorean theorem. C^2 = A^2 + B^2

A can be 5. B can be 2.
C^2 = 25 + 4

So C equals the square root of 29 (25+4)

The answer is square root of 29.
