With the formula: m=(y1-y2)/(x1-x2) you can sub in the values to get the slope (m).

m=(4-2)/(2-(-3))
   = 2/5

Therefore the slope is 2/5.

for points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2)
the slope of the line going through those points is
(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
given
(2,4) and (-3,2)
x1=2
y1=4
x2=-3
y2=2

slope=(2-4)/(-3-2)=-2/-5=2/5
