The distance from [tex](h, k)[/tex] to [tex]x=1[/tex] is [tex]1-h[/tex]

To reflect across the line, we go twice this distance, which is [tex]2-2h[/tex]

So the new x-coordinate is [tex]h+(2-2h)=2-h[/tex]

[tex]A (-8, -6)[/tex] becomes [tex]A' (2-(-8), -6)=(10, -6)[/tex]
[tex]B (-2, -6)[/tex] becomes [tex]B' (2-(-2), -6)=(4, -6)[/tex]
[tex]C (-5, -4)[/tex] becomes [tex]C' (2-(-5), -6)=(7, -6)[/tex]
