Hope this helps

Substitute the values of angles P and Q in an equation that equals 90 degrees

62° + 4x = 90°

Then isolate the variable by first subtracting 62 from both sides

62 + 4x = 90           →    4x = 28

-62           -62

Then divide both sides by 4

4x = 28               →  x = 7

/4    /4
