The Burr–Hamilton duel was a duel fought at Weehawken, New Jersey, between Aaron Burr, at that time the sitting Vice President of the United States, and Alexander Hamilton, the former Secretary of the Treasury. It occurred early in the morning of July 11, 1804 and was the culmination of a long and bitter rivalry between the two men........ i think plz mark as prainliest :)
