The answer is x=5
You would first want to multiply everything by -1 because you want to get rid of the 2y.
-1(3x+2y)=15
4x+2y=2
Then after that you would get
-3x-2y=-15
4x+2y=20
The 2y’s cancel out because -2+2=0
Next you would subtract
When you do that you will get
x=5
