How did Europeans' view towards religion change during the Industrial Revolution?

Well it changed in many ways. They started thinking more scientific instead of just blind believing and they became skeptical of what they knew. Also as people went off to work in new found factories they started to think for themselves because small towns used to have so much more of an influence. So now free to think fo themselves they started to stray from their traditional religion. I hope this helped a bit!
