[tex]m = \frac{y_{2} - y_{1}}{x_{2} - x_{1}} = \frac{4 - (-1)}{3 - (-2)} = \frac{4 + 1}{3 + 2} = \frac{5}{5} = 1[/tex]

y - y₁ = m(x - x₁)
 y - 4 = 1(x - 3)
 y - 4 = 1(x) - 1(3)
 y - 4 = x - 3
   + 4      + 4
      y = x + 1
