Point slope form

y - -6 = (-1/2)(x - -4)

y + 6 = (-1/2)x - 2

y = (-1/2)x - 8

Answer: y = (-1/2)x - 8

Check.  Clearly slope is -1/2, good.  (-1/2)(-4)-8=2-8=-6 good
