0.24 moles of N₂

Explanation:

The reaction is this one:

N₂ + 3H₂  → 2NH₃

Ratio is 2:1

2 moles of ammonia are produced by 1 mol of N₂

If I have 0.48 moles of NH₃, they wil be produced by (0.48 . 1)/2 = 0.24 moles of N₂

Exactly the half, because the stoichiometry.
