Step-by-step explanation: consider the the left triangle area is the same of the right triangle. The triangle basis i 4+1+1=6cm the triangle height is 2cm. So the area of one triangle is area=(6*2)/2=12/2=6 cm^2. The area of the rectangule is area=11*4=44cm^2.

So the total area are: area= area triangle+area triangle+area rectangule=6+6+44=56cm^2
