How wide is a rectangle with a length of 38 cm and 8 dm perimeter?

Perimeter is all four sides added together, therefore.... 
 
38+38= 76

8dm= 80cm
80cm*2=160 cm

76+160= 236

so perimeter mesans to add we want to see how wide it is so for this problem we are going to add 38+38 which equals 76 then add 8+8 is 16 add 76+16 which is 92
