The greatest impact of Sykes-Picot is affecting Syria even today, Arabs include the agreement in their criticism of two other WWI-era "conflicting promises"  that is regarding the nature of Palestine-the Hussein-McMahon correspondence (1915-16) and the Balfour Declaration (1917). I hope this was helpful! Have a good day!
