For this case we have the following function:

[tex]y = 5-x[/tex]

We look for the points of intersection with the x axis, doing y = 0

[tex]0 = 5-x\\x = 5[/tex]

We look for the points of intersection with the y axis, doing x = 0

[tex]y = 5-0\\y = 5[/tex]

We can also observe that the slope is -1.

[tex]y = mx + b\\y = -x + 5[/tex]
