Add 25 to both sides

[tex]3x - 25 + 25 = 125 + 25[/tex]

Than you will have

[tex]3x = 150[/tex]

Divide both sides by 3

[tex] \frac{3x}{3} = \frac{150}{3} [/tex]

ANSWER

[tex]x = 50[/tex]
