Government through Civil right laws is trying to protect equal treatment, respect and avoid discrimination.

It guards people from gender, nationality, race, age or pregnancy discrimination through different laws as could be the (pregnancy discrimination act), assuring same opportunities for any kind of person at the time of an employment vacancy or educational access for example.
