not sure if [tex]f(x)=-5^{x}-4[/tex] or [tex]f(x)=-5^{x-4}[/tex]

for this problem, I will use [tex]f(x)=-5^{x}-4[/tex]

[tex](f+g)(x)=f(x)+g(x)=[/tex]

[tex]-5^{x}-4-3x-1=[/tex]

[tex]-5^{x}-3x-5[/tex]
