f(x) = x^2 + 2x - 3 and g(x) = x^2 - 9

(f/g)(x) = (x^2+ 2x -3) / (x^2 - 9)

(f/g)(x) = (x +3 )(x - 1) / (x + 3)(x - 3)

(f/g)(x) = (x - 1) / (x - 3)
