Now, start the iterations:

[tex](2x+1)^2-2(2x+1)\\\\=4x^2+1+4x-4x-2\\\\=4x^2+1-2\\\\=4x^2-1\\\\=(2x)^2-1\\\\=(2x+1)(2x-1)[/tex]
