Alex needs 2 meters of sprinkler pipe. He has a pipe that is 89 centimeters long. How much more sprinkler pipe does Alex need?

I believe that Alex will need about 3 left because 100 cm= 1 meter. He already has 89 cm of pipe and that means he need 11cm to make it a meter. He needs 111cm left in order to have 2 meters which I beleive is 3 pipes I guess.
